FOSTWOM project was present during Open Education Week 2020, with two sessions on the 3rd and 4th of March, in two different appointments, in order to take time zones into account. For these webinars, Paola Corti (Polimi) and Ana Moura Santos (IST) prepared a presentation on the expected results of FOSTWOM, at large, and underlined the relevance of developing a gender-balanced Toolkit for MOOC design and validation. The Toolkit will contain very easy tools (like checklists, questions, an example of situations, suggestions etc.) quick to be used, not only for MOOCs’ evaluation but also for content experts, so that they can start thinking about their MOOC taking gender issues into account. Our aim was also to discuss with Webinar participants, having their perception of the needs around this, and the points of attention they might suggest us to take into account. It was very useful to share perspectives and we plan to do it again next year, updating the audience about the state of the art of FOSTWOM and collecting further ideas and suggestions.
