The FOSTWOM project was invited on 12th March 2020 by the Organisers of the Open edX monthly Meetup event to present a short communication on Fostering Women to STEM MOOCs: developing a Toolkit. Ana Moura Santos (IST) explained in which ways FOSTWOM aims to promote full and equal access to participation in STEM for girls and women, through MOOC design and development that support female considering STEM careers. The project includes in its first year a development of a gender-balanced Toolkit that helps instructional designers and faculty members to produce STEM MOOC contents aligned with the FOSTWOM main goal.
