Organised by METID, this was the first training in a series of three that are part of the our FOSTWOM Project. This first training was been held online on the 9th and 10th of February 2021, 10-13 CET (6 hours totally). The training aimed to prepare the partners HEIs’ professors, content experts and technical staffs to design and produce gender inclusive MOOCs in STEM fields, and secondly learn how to use the gender-balance TOOLKIT developed within the project itself.
During the training the 32 participants, mainly HEIs’ professors, content experts and technical staffs coming from Spain, Portugal, Sweden, France and Italy discovered and used the tools (TOOLKIT and Checklist) developed in FOSWTOM project to design and produce gender inclusive MOOCs in STEM fields. There were interesting discussions about the way some key elements can favor an effective gender-balanced MOOC design and development in STEM field.
The training was free of charge for participants and a certificate of attendance was provided to participants.
