The second MOOC produced by the FOSTWOM partnership is now online and still open for enrolment until March 2022: “Machine Learning, Maths & Ethics: Hands-on”.
This online course is targeted to young people, mainly young women, and provides explanations about the foundations of Machine Learning in an intuitive way. It has a heavy focus on exercises and examples of its applications. The course allows participants to develop practical skills to build algorithms and stimulate critical thinking on the ethics of machine learning models.
This MOOC, in its first edition, is available through MOOC Técnico platform, the MOOC platform of Técnico Lisboa.
New editions will be activated soon in other partners’ MOOC platforms. Stay tuned and do not miss the opportunity to start this learning journey through a more inclusive environment in the STEM field.
